Course overview

HIV/AIDS is a public health crisis in many countries, with socio-economic, employment, and human rights implications. In this SAQA-aligned course (unit standard 13915), you will be introduced to the concepts of HIV/AIDS, its symptoms, how it is spread, and finding treatment and support. This course will delve into ways of effectively reducing and managing the impact of HIV/AIDS in the workplace, such as HIV/AIDS awareness programmes and policies. You will also learn important information about your rights in the workplace with regards to HIV/AIDS.
