Course overview

Stress is a normal physical, mental and emotional reaction to any change that requires an adjustment or response. Although, stress can be beneficial in short bursts to help you stay alert and perform at your best, having severe, frequent and prolonged stress can negatively affect individuals at all levels within the workplace, and at home. In this SAQA-aligned course, learners will learn how to identify the various types of stress and common events that can bring upon stress, will be able to understand how work stressors can impact job performance and will learn different techniques on how to manage and reduce stress in the workplace.
